The management and all who work at Qualter Hall & Company Ltd are committed to provide a safe and healthy working environment in accordance with the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974, the Management of Health & Safety at Work Regulations 1999 and all other relevant associated legislation and other requirements including industry best practice to which the Company subscribes.
The company seeks to safeguard so far as is reasonably practicable, the health, safety and welfare of all employees and public and, where possible, to work with suppliers and contractors who themselves have sound occupational health & safety policies.
An essential feature of the occupational health & safety management system is a commitment to improving health & safety performance. This is achieved by setting annual improvement objectives and targets which are regularly monitored and reviewed. The objectives and targets are publicised throughout the company and all staff are committed to their achievement.

In order to ensure the achievement of the above commitments, the company has implemented an occupational health & safety management system which satisfies the requirements of BS OHSAS 18001:2007.
By this policy Qualter Hall & Company Ltd recognises its responsibility towards the protection of the employees and public, and it issues this statement as a commitment of both management and employees to minimising the health & safety impact of its operations.
