The health, safety and general well-being of all staff and subcontractors as well as our customers is of paramount importance to Qualter Hall.

We are therefore delighted to have achieved Gold award for the third year running in the prestigious Health & Safety awards run by the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA). The RoSPA Awards scheme, which receives entries from organisations around the world, recognises achievement in health and safety management systems, including practices such as leadership and workforce involvement.

This year's awards ceremony took place at Excel, London on Tuesday, 19 June 2018. EHS Manager, Ivan Tibble accepted the award on behalf of Qualter Hall. Julia Small, RoSPA's head of qualifications, awards and events, said: 'The RoSPA Awards are the most highly-respected in the health and safety arena, with almost 2,000 entrants every year, and allow organisations to prove excellence in the workplace, demonstrating a commitment to the wellbeing of not only employees but all those who interact with it.'

2017 was particularly special for RoSPA as it marked their centenary year. As part of the celebrations, 3,500 guests gathered at Buckingham Palace for a Garden Party hosted by HRH the Duke of York and HRH Princess Eugenie during a very sunny day in May. Qualter Hall's EHS Manager Ivan Tibble and his wife were delighted to be among the guests invited to this special occasion.

Qualter Hall's Managing Director, George Orton said: 'We are absolutely delighted to have been awarded the RoSPA Occupational Health & Safety Gold Award for the third year running. Over the years it has been a key company policy to maintain the very highest of standards of health and safety for the benefit of both our valued members of staff, as well as our customers. We are extremely proud therefore to achieve such prestigious recognition for the health and safety management systems we have in place, and the health and safety record we have achieved.'
