Our ESG commitment

We strive to build sustainable and innovative business in tandem with continuous improvements in our ESG performance. This commitment informs every aspect of our business, including how we design and build new projects, operate our company, interact with the local community, collaborate with stakeholders and report progress. This commitment is implemented across different pillars of the business, as detailed in this document.

Climate change & the environment

We are committed to reducing our environmental impact through reducing our energy and carbon emissions intensity, as we believe that climate change is one of the greatest risks to our world.

Social responsibility

Qualter Hall recognises the importance of delivering social impact through a focus on our employees, customers and local communities.

Ethical governance

Qualter Hall follows all regulatory health & safety requirements and offers periodic training to employees. Additionally, the company monitors and constantly improves working conditions.

Our business & ESG

ESG for our business is about assessing the potential net positive impact we can have, and taking concerted, defined and measurable action to improve it.

Our place in the community

As a global supplier of products and services, we have a duty to the people in the locations we operate in, so we look to support selected charitable and educational initiatives.

Our customers

Customers are at the heart of our business, and we have an obligation to offer them the best possible levels of service.

ESG and our supply chain

Our supply chain accounts for a material part of our ESG impact, so we work closely with our supply chain to understand their impact and provide support and education where necessary.

Our ESG committee

Our ESG committee reports directly to our board. The committee is to look for examples of best practice, gather/review data from employees, broad parts of the business and customer feedback, then filter and summarise it upwards to the board.
