Qualter Hall Achieves ISO 45001

We are delighted to announce that we have been approved and certified to ISO 45001 for our Occupational Health and Safety Management System.

ISO 45001 sets out to provide a robust and effective set of processes for improving work safety. It is the world’s first International Standard for Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) and is to prevent work-related injury and ill health, and proactively improve the organisation’s OH&S performance.

There are 13 explicit requirements in the ISO 45001 standard placed on management, meaning that health and safety has to be integrated right across the business and as such, is no longer acceptable for it to be a stand-alone function. Our Managing Director says:

“Achieving this standard is a significant achievement and demonstrates our commitment as a company to providing and maintaining a safe and healthy working environment, both on and off site, for all our employees. A big thank you to all our colleagues for the role each and every one of them has played in working towards this accreditation.”
