Qualter Hall secures 5 Year M&E Framework with West Sussex County Council for two moving bridges

Littlehampton Footbridge is a retractable footbridge providing vessels with access to both north of the footbridge and to Littlehampton Marina, while the second footbridge, the Adur Ferry Swing Bridge at Shoreham, provides a useful link for pedestrians, cutting approximately 1.5 miles off the alternative route via main roads.

Qualter Hall has maintained both bridges for a number of years but has been re-selected via a competitive tender process on the basis of their proven knowledge, capability and performance as well as offering best value to the client. The agreement is for 5 years with West Sussex County Council having the option to extend for a further five years.

Says Martin Kelly, Qualter Hall's Managing Director: "We have a long established and proven track record in providing a range of on-going contract maintenance and site services for our clients. We are therefore delighted to have been re-appointed by West Sussex County Council for the M&E Framework for the two bridges."
