Hugh Smith Notching and Punching Presses can produce all types of drainage rolls in ship’s frames, and are ideal for several other applications and industries.

• Sizes 120, 300, 400 and 600 tonnes for thicknesses up to 35 mm or more. On frames up to 35 mm or more. On frames up to 1,200 mm deep
• Elliptical holes up to 200 mm x 100 mm within one plate thickness from section edge without distortion
• Round holes, rectangular or semi-circular notches
• Automatic feed system with pitch accuracy +/- 1mm
• One feed /punch cycle every 20 seconds
• Punch sizes easily changed within 5 minutes
