The scheme involved 13 sites all of which underwent a systematic transformation of varying degrees into a user/operator automated system

Scope of works included:-

  • Design, supply, installation and commissioning  of the hydraulic systems (powerpacks, cylinders and connections)
  • Supply, installation and commissioning of the electrical controls
  • Supply and installation of new civil pits to accept gate cylinder mechanisms
  • Design and supply of gate sluice systems within the existing hand wind casings therefore retaining the overall aesthetics of an old lock
  • Civil building to house controls etc
  • Water level detection systems
  • Supervision of subcontractors at various sites
